How to adopt a kitten
Get in touch → Reserve → Updates → Go home
- Get in touch. Write to us about your home and the kitten you are looking for. We reply in writing, usually within a day or two.
- Reserve your kitten. Once we agree on a kitten, a $350 reservation deposit (credited toward the price) takes it off the market and we sign the purchase agreement.
- Photo and video updates. While your kitten grows, we send photos and short videos, and we are happy to do a video call.
- Go home. At about 4 months, after spay or neuter and a final vet check, the balance is paid and your kitten goes home: pickup in Wasilla or delivery arranged in advance.
This page is a plain-language summary. The signed purchase agreement is the binding document, and its terms take precedence over anything written here.
Price and reservation
Pet kittens are $1,600–$2,900. The price of each kitten is listed with the kitten, and we are happy to answer any question about it.
A $350 reservation deposit is credited toward the purchase price. Under the agreement, the deposit may be retained if the buyer cancels, fails to pay the balance when due, or fails to take the kitten within seven days after the scheduled handover date. Amounts paid above the deposit are refunded within 14 days. If we cancel before handover, all amounts paid are refunded within 14 days. Before accepting the kitten at handover, the buyer may also decline and receive a full refund within 14 days for a microchip mismatch, an undisclosed visible illness or injury, or an incorrect sex. Please review the agreement for the full terms. Applicable legal rights are preserved.

Limited health guarantees
Our purchase agreement provides two separate types of limited health coverage.
Health at handover. Coverage for specified conditions present at handover requires an examination by a licensed veterinarian within three calendar days after the Sale Date and written notice describing the claimed condition or observed signs by 11:59 p.m. Alaska time on the third calendar day. Written veterinary findings may follow promptly and must establish that the condition was present at handover. For a covered claim, the agreement provides a replacement pet kitten of comparable quality within 12 months after receipt of the written notice and veterinary findings. If the original kitten is alive, it must be returned when the replacement is received unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Two-year hereditary and congenital coverage. If the kitten dies within two years after the Sale Date as the direct result of a life-threatening hereditary or congenital defect, the agreement provides a replacement pet kitten of comparable quality within 12 months after receipt of the written notice and required proof. Requirements include written notice within 48 hours of death, preservation of the body for necropsy, and the required necropsy report and veterinary records.
The three-day examination requirement does not apply to the two-year hereditary and congenital coverage. Both guarantees are subject to the agreement’s full conditions, exclusions and notice procedures. Written notice must be given as the agreement specifies; a message through this website is not a contractual notice. Please review its definitions of Sale Date and handover, including handover to a buyer’s carrier or agent. Rights that cannot lawfully be waived are preserved.
Pickup and delivery
Pickup is in Wasilla, Alaska. Delivery to another state may be available by prior arrangement. Transportation is not included in the purchase price. Availability, costs and handover arrangements must be confirmed in advance.
Frequently asked questions
- Are Siberian cats hypoallergenic?
- We do not guarantee allergy compatibility. Reactions vary by person and by cat. Human allergies are excluded from our contractual health guarantees. The agreement does not provide a refund solely because of an allergic reaction, subject to applicable law. If allergies are a concern, we recommend spending time with the breed before deciding.
- How much do your kittens cost?
- Pet kittens are $1,600–$2,900. The price of each kitten is listed with the kitten. Transportation is not included.
- How do I reserve a kitten?
- Write to us first. When we agree on a kitten, a $350 reservation deposit, credited toward the price, takes it off the market, and we sign the purchase agreement. See “Price and reservation” above for how the deposit is handled.
- At what age can my kitten come home?
- At about 4 months, after spay or neuter and a final veterinary check.
- Is there a health guarantee?
- Yes, two kinds of limited coverage under the purchase agreement: conditions present at handover, and death from a life-threatening hereditary or congenital defect within two years. The details are in “Limited health guarantees” above.
- Do you deliver, or do I have to pick up?
- Pickup is in Wasilla, Alaska. Delivery to another state may be available by prior arrangement; transportation is not included in the price. Availability, costs and handover arrangements must be confirmed in advance.
- Can I visit the kittens?
- Please contact us to arrange it. We raise our kittens at home, so visits are planned in advance. A video call with the kitten is always possible.
- What comes with my kitten?
- Age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay or neuter, parasite treatment, a veterinary health check, the signed agreement, CFA registration marked “Not for Breeding”, the health record, and a starter supply of food, a toy and a small gift from us.
- Will my kitten be spayed or neutered?
- Yes. Our kittens are placed as pets only and are spayed or neutered before they go home.
- How can I pay?
- We confirm accepted payment methods when you reserve. The balance is due in full before the kitten goes home.
- Can I reserve a kitten from a future litter?
- Yes. Write to us or join the waiting list on the kittens page, and we will let you know when a litter is confirmed.
- Should I get a boy or a girl? One kitten or two?
- Both sexes make affectionate pets once spayed or neutered; personality matters more than sex. Two kittens keep each other company if you are away during the day. We are glad to help you choose.
- Can the kitten go outside?
- Our kittens are indoor cats. Outdoor time is fine under supervision, on a leash or in a secure enclosure.
- What if I can no longer keep the cat?
- Please contact us before rehoming your cat. Under the agreement, you must first offer the cat back to us. Acceptance is not automatic, and the agreement sets out the procedure and conditions for any subsequent transfer.
